How Do You Build An Ark?

Posted by Webmaster in Christian EdAnnouncements

Come and find out! Actually we won't be building an ark but we will be having a great time trying. This will all happen at Camp Johnsonburg and you are all invited to join in the fun. There is no better time than now to join in the fun and see for yourselves how beautiful Camp Johnsonburg is and to experience the wonderful senses of humor of the people sitting in the pew next to you! The All Church Retreat can fulfill whatever need you have, whether it's a quiet interlude with nature, sharing ideas and activities at the workshops, singing great camp songs or laughing with new and old friends. The retreat has it all. The ACR will be held on May 31-June 1 at Camp Johnsonburg. The camp is only 90 minutes away from Hightstown in beautiful northern NJ. The air is crisp, the fish are plenty, and nature is at its loveliest. It truly is a destination of peace and joy. Cost this year is $65 per adult and children 17 and under are free. Brochures can be found in the Narthex. If you are interested in joining the "crew" on the Ark, and being a part of our "adventure", please see Gail Lord or Joan Newell.

Adult Mission Trip to Jamaica - Tuesday

Posted by Bryan Franzen in Mission

Tuesday was a great and hard day of work. It seemed as if we jump right into the tasks given to us and everyone took upon their jobs with great gusto and enthusiamsm. the Project we are doing all revolve around protecting and preseving this church. We are combating the termite problem by scrapping, filling and painting everything wood; painting the church all over, building porticos and much more. When we get to a WIFI hotspot I hope to up load pictures. As for Monday, it was a very long and uneventful day standing in a lot of very long lines and making our way to the hotel by 12:30 am. Check in tomorrow. If I find a computer I'll add more!
