Welcome

We are delighted that you are interested in the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown. Perhaps you have recently moved into the area, or you may be in the process of searching for a new church to call home. We welcome you and encourage you to take a look at this site to learn more about us, our programs, our beliefs, and our mission.

From the beginning, reaching out to help others, both locally and globally, has been a central calling of our congregation. Opportunities to participate in these mission activities are many. Our Christian Education offering includes numerous programs geared to adults as well as several programs for children and youth. Look under Programs and at the photo gallery to learn more about these. Information is also here to provide you with an introduction to What We Believe and to tell you more about our services.

Lastly, we encourage you to join us for a service so that we might get to know you better. If you would like to have someone at the door to greet you, hit Contact Us and we will arrange for a deacon to greet you.

Thank you for visiting our site. Should you be interested in participating on any of these programs or ministries, feel free to join in. You do not need to be a member to participate. Should you become interested in learning more about membership, New Member classes are available. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information and to sign up. And, please, join us immediately following any service on Sunday for Coffee Hour and fellowship.

Again, welcome!!

MissionMorsels

Rutgers Protestant Campus Ministry is a ministry of the American Baptist Churches, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Reformed Church in America, and the United Church of Christ. Its program, People of the Book, is a religiously diverse collaboration of campus ministries serving the New Brunswick / Piscataway campus of Rutgers and the State University of New Jersey with a mission to build community by:
  • Raising awareness of and affirming the religious and cultural diversity of Rutgers
  • Learning about the beliefs, practices and histories of other religions, including the resources in each religious tradition that welcome and support religious and cultural diversity
  • Modeling civil and constructive conversation on religion and contemporary issues on the academic campus

Whoever you are, wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome among us!  FPCH supports this ministry giving financial support and Rev. Franzen's time.
