STOP GAP Fund
Every now and then, travelers coming through our area need assistance. We offer them assistance through our STOP GAP Fund. This giving has been used for housing assistance, unexpected car repairs, medical supplies, and even eye glasses.
Community Action Service Center
Our contribution supports the Community Action Service Center’s Community Activists Awards Gala and the Center’s Summer Academic Enrichment Program for students from low income families in our area.
Other Local Outreach
For several years, our congregation has enjoyed working directly with the Interfaith Hospitality Network, offering our guests hot meals, sleeping accommodations, needed essential living items, and emotional support as they look to re-establish their own footings. We contribute and work with TASK (Trenton Area Soup Kitchen) and the Better Beginnings Day Care. Each year we provide numerous needy families with Christmas gifts through our Sharing Tree Program.

| Habitat for Humanity, Millstone Basin Chapter was founded by a group of activists focused around our church in the early 1990's. Since that time they have built a number of homes in East Windsor, Robbinsville and currently in Hightstown. As a chapter of Habitat for Humanity International, the group builds affordable housing involving sweat equity of the selected family, donated materials and construction supplies and volunteer time to allow the family to move in to a decent home without having a large mortgage payment. We have committed to be a major sponsor of the next home to be built. Volunteer workers are needed to assist the building process, at every skill level. Could this be a way for you to discover new talents, new friends and the satisfaction of a job well done? |
