With Dr. Franzen's departure on December 31, 2011 we have begun a search for a full-time Interim Pastor. We are looking forward to the person of God's choosing to guide us during our transition between Pastors. The Personnel Committee under the direction of the Session is developing its list of priorities for working with the Interim Pastor, reviewing Personal Information Forms, and conducting interviews.

On Sunday, January 1, the Main Street congregation will worship with the Meadow Lakes congregation in the Meadow Lakes auditorium at 11 AM. There will be NO worship services or education hour at Main Street that day. Please join us at Meadow Lakes.

Christmas Caroling - Sunday, December 18

We will gather at the home of the Bini’s at 6:00 PM (547 Dutch Neck Road, East Windsor). We will drive around town to bring holiday cheer to members of our church family. After caroling we will return to the Bini’s for refreshments. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

We will host a Singer/Songwriters Concert in the Round on Sunday, October 9 at 7:00 PM This concert will support our various activities, including global mission and outreach in our community. Fall Fest is almost here! Please join us this Saturday, September 24 and enjoy lots of wonderful handmade crafts, dried floral arrangements, homemade baked goods, our thrift shop featuring some new and gently used items, a silent auction and our food court, which will be serving breakfast and lunch.

New Wednesday Evening Worship Service

FPCH Float in Hightstown Memorial Day Parade

Come and support the FPCH float in the Hightstown Memorial Day Parade. The parade starts at 9 am on Monday, May 30.

If you would like to help decorate the float, we will meet behind the Vincent home at 222 Morrison Ave at 3 pm on Sunday May 29. We will be decorating the float with flats of flowers. You can drop off the flowers behind the Vincent home or bring them to church Sunday morning. Please label your flowers and they will be returned Monday afternoon.

Hard Candy for Children in Afghanistan

We hope you all know that the soldiers in Afghanistan are fighting hard for us. They are trying to make friends with the children in the area, but the children are scared of the soldiers. They have asked us to send hard candy for them to give out as a gesture of friendship and peace. Bring in your hard candy and place it in the box in the Narthex (no candy that will melt or go bad). Exploring Peacemaking Class Starts November 3

Reverend Liz Alexander is a former associate pastor at the Riverside in NYC and pastored a Presbyterian congregation in New York that focused on men and women who were recently released from prison.
