Rutgers Protestant Campus Ministry is a ministry of the American Baptist Churches, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Reformed Church in America, and the United Church of Christ. Its program, People of the Book, is a religiously diverse collaboration of campus ministries serving the New Brunswick / Piscataway campus of Rutgers and the State University of New Jersey with a mission to build community by:

Raising awareness of and affirming the religious and cultural diversity of Rutgers
Learning about the beliefs, practices and histories of other religions, including the resources in each religious tradition that welcome and support religious and cultural diversity
Modeling civil and constructive conversation on religion and contemporary issues on the academic campus
