In 2015, we welcomed many into membership in the congregation, from a new members class of ten individuals and families, to the joy of welcoming 5 young people into full membership on May 31, having completed the confirmation process.
In partnership with the worship committee, art ministry, our music folks and Mary Maleski, we were delighted to experiment with creativity in worship, particularly in featuring monthly worship experiences that were inclusive of adults and children of all ages and abilities.
In the fall, one Sunday a month was designed to be intentionally inter-generational, including children and youth as worship leaders, with liturgy and a sermon time that speaks to all ages. We’ll continue monthly inter-generational services in 2016.
In other worship highlights, Lent featured an Ash Wednesday communion service, a Maundy Thursday service with dinner and communion around tables, and a dramatic reading by some of our own, and a solemn Tennebrae service on Good Friday.
Art Ministry continues to bless us and praise God with their worship installations, and our choirs continue to help us lift up our hearts every week.
With gratitude for faithful partnership in ministry, and gratitude to God for the joy of serving with you, and eager anticipation of what God will call us to do next,
